Theoretical Paper on How to heal a person

Healing in Christianity have been observed many times throughout time of its existence. Unlike everything in nature, it is a force that came into existence. Due to the sacrifice of our lord Jesus Christ.
(This applies to everyone Christian or not ). Unlike other forces such as gravity and other natural forces .

Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Let’s learn from Laws

Like all creations of God, things don’t work on wishful thinking and fantasies. It works based on some basic Laws.

James 1:6,7

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Such a person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

To put it simply, you can’t try healing. You can’t say let me go to pastor, ask him to heal him. Just in case try some medicine anyway.
You might say that’s just dumb, its not like that.

Say you have a mobile phone that needs to charge. You don’t connect the charger, after every two seconds and see if it has got charged. You leave it for few hours and it gets charge.

Explaining Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7

For it is by faith that we walk and not by sight.

Faith is really opposite of sight. The things you see after you attempted to heal the person not necessarily align with what you are believing for.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Basically faith is what you believe rather than what you see.
A Interviewer once asked a Scientist on the research on Magnetism.

What is the use of this ?

Scientist replies What is use of a baby?

It was a good reply .A baby is literally useless, requires attention and care, when we asses it from sight but from faith the baby could be a Einstein , next Tom Cruise , or anybody great. That is what faith is.
The ability to see things from a perspective which sounds dumb from a perspective by sigh.

Doesn’t work like Magic

Heck even magic doesn’t work like magic. Its only the illusion of magic.

What I mean is there’s a Big difference between a waiting to see a person healed and believing that person is already healed.

When you are waiting to see the person healed, you are functioning by sight, not by faith. Hence Oops you don’t see the healing manifest.

Mathew 11: 12 – 25

20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[f] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

As you have noticed here when Jesus Cursed the fig tree,it did not die immediately

There was no reason for Jesus to say have faith, if they believed the tree was dead . It required them to see that the tree was dead.

Say for example you drank some deadly poison that will kill you in a matter of days. But if a naive person looks at you and says your just fine, See nothing has happened physically yet, doesn’t really change. Doesn’t it ? You still are going to die.

Same was the case with tree.

Family Christians may have Probs

Some people have strange idea if they are born in a Christian family. They must be one. Its very simple to become a Christian.

Matthew  10:32
Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.

Praying for person is different than healing a Person

Sometimes people come and say I am gonna heal you instead of pray for you.

Mark 10  46-52
Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

As you have noticed in this verse, there is huge crowd in front of Jesus, probably much much more than the celebrities of this day have.

The point I am making, It was quite difficult to approach Jesus.
What we Se later

When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

48 Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

The blind man tried to get Jesus attention by shouting “have mercy on me” . He could have given up hope and walked away. He didn’t give up. He was not thinking let me try Jesus out. He trusted in Jesus for his healing.

49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”

So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.

51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

52 “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

Notice what Jesus says By your faith. Jesus had faith, he knew it was not by his faith alone, but the critical factor in healing is your faith. In this Case the critical case was beggar. He needed to believe.

Let’s look at another case.

John 9

Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him,“wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

Remember as you read towards the end, only he washed it away
and then came home seeing. So until then he was blind man with mud pie on his face walking across the city, all the way to the river.

Think how embarrassing it would have been for him. He would have looked like an idiot. He might have thought omg why, my self esteem going down the drain. If he would have been you and me , we might have not gone through the embarrassment.

We observe from these verses that It is by your faith you are healed , and not by the persons faith. Especially as far as study goes related to targeted healing.

The role of the healer is to tell what the sick person should believe.
It is by his authority he or she has in God , the sick person is healed

And Sick person needs to act in Faith. Essentially you are  completing a circuit. Where you need difference in potential. Healer shall declare his authority. And the recipient acknowledging and acting under that authority.

Mark 16  17,18

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

They will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

So according to verses, those people who believe, will have the authority to cast out demons , and finally you see they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall get well.

Conclusion It is your responsibility to believe and Heal People and not Gods

This emphasis was required, Since most Christians give up their authority  to God. And say God is sovereign . Which is false, usually belief taken by lazy or faithless Christian.

Saying Faithless Christian borders on a misnomer .But what can I say we live in a weird and fallen world.
