Passing the test of temptation by Grace and entering the exam hall because of Law

We see that being Sin conscious, or being conscious being right in the sight of the God right is really big these days, but justifying yourself by Christ and call it a day is very interesting aspect I have discussed over many posts.

But what if you still say to yourself this guy doesn’t know what he’s talk about , living under rules  is better. This post won’t force or logically corner you into picking grace. We will discuss the outcome of having sin  consciousness or being a perfectionist.

Jobs 1

 4.And his sons would go and feast in their houses, each on hisappointed day, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offeringsaccording to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed[a] God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.

We see that Job becomes excessively sin conscious, is it wrong? no comments .

Psalms 50:12

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

Jobs 1

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

According to verse above, Everyone God fearing Christian would come to conclusion yes.

But we see the Devil comes up many times, Questioning then righteousness of Jobs. We see God allows the devil to hurt him emotionally and physically. But we see he gets blessed physically and emotionally at the end by not cursing God.

But being sin conscious literally took him to court which is very interesting, he is tested all through to see if he curses God. But we see in coming verses

Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”

10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

We see that Jobs quote the grace of God, how everything he received unconditionally , so we see that he passes the test by Knowledge of grace, but with knowledge of sin he walks into the Exam hall 😁😁

Lessons from Abraham and Abimelech

Abraham and Abimelech

20 And Abraham journeyed from there to the South, and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur, and stayed in Gerar. Now Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.”

But Abimelech had not come near her; and he said, “Lord, will You slay a righteous nation also? Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she, even she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands I have done this.”

As always in this lesson we learn why it important yo be justified by receiving the grace of God than, being self righteous. As we see Abraham was in the wrong to not tell is wife , but went over to Abimelech who said he did it in the integrity of his heart, and said he is the dead man; to add to the humiliation he had to as Abraham who was in the wrong to ask him to pray for him.

If you don’t think this story indicates receiving Grace by faith doesn’t makes righteous, I donno what will!  In fact God call Abraham a prophet. We see later on not only he is humiliated but is tempted to sin by rebuking Abraham’s wife .

14 Then Abimelech took sheep, oxen, and male and female servants, and gave them to Abraham; and he restored Sarah his wife to him. 15 And Abimelech said, “See, my land is before you; dwell where it pleases you.” 16 Then to Sarah he said, “Behold, I have given your brother a thousand pieces of silver; indeed this vindicates you[a] before all who are with you and before everybody.” Thus she was rebuked.

17 So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; 18 for theLord had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.

Then on top of that, he asks mercy from Abraham to lift the curse of him and his household. That’s saying something how Abraham and Sarah’s were justified by Grace rather than the King Abimelech.

Not that’s amazing, remember to receive your share of grace by faith
Have a good day!!!

Explaining living a righteous life effortlessly by using Calvin, Hobbes Joke !!

If you have read the comic portrays a boy asking barber for a weird haircut the barber looks at her mother and asks what type of haircut? She says normal, and the boy complains saying this guy knows which side his bread is buttered.

Assume the barber is you, the boy is your temptation, The Lady is God. If you live a life where you receive God’s grace by faith, you will listen to the the person, since he his responsible for your bread and butter. You will overcome temptation and live a righteous life effortlessly.

Just the way God mad Abraham walk with him, by grace not by law .

Genesis 12 1-3

Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Genesis 17:1

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.

Remember you too can live a awesome righteous life , if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, so that you may have great life on this earth as well as everlasting life in heaven

Revelation 1

John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who loved us and washed[a] us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings[b] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,”[c]says the Lord,[d] “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Receive Grace by Faith. Good day 😂

Briefly explaining Book of Jobs(Law vs Grace )- Part 1

Book of Jobs is basically a story circumscribing the Argument of grace vs Law .

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

In book of Jobs,

God talks meets with the Sons of Gods(angel), and the Devil. You will notice that God asks the devil where do you come from twice, devil answers two and from I walk the Earth. Angels live in heaven,  he was asked twice to reiterate that God and the devil are not buddies. We see then God boasts to the Devil

Psalms 15:4

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

Remember God his righteous, how much more does he values his own words.

Psalms 138:2

I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your loving kindness and for your truth: for you have magnified your word above all your name.

God has esteemed his word above his name , God could just take his words back, when the devil challenged Gods word. So we see God removes the protection from him , the devil attacks him.

First his the devil kills his family, every thing and everyone he holds dear, Its very interesting as much as moving what he says!

Job 1

 21 And he said:

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

See its very interesting because , It was the time of the Law. The laws is basically do good but get good , do bad get bad.
Although he didn’t hold God accountable for this great tragedy, because did he didn’t deserve this , God himself told that he’s a blameless and upright man.

According to Self justification by Law, God seemed unjust
But according to Grace God was just

As we see that Job is saying naked I came from my mothers womb, naked I shall return here. Job believed in the grace of God , not in the his righteousness. When God gave him everything he didn’t deserve , and it appears God took it away; It is simply just taking away the the free undeserving gift in the first place.

Job 2

Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”

10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

We see in the above verses, Job believed in Grace. Although Job was short sighted at the end of the story, We see God restoring and blessing him even more than before. He failed to see it as the test. But of course he still stands strong because of his deep rooted faith in the Grace of God.

We will go into the details in the next post, learn quotes allot into the argument of living righteous by self effort vs living in grace of God in the next post

Thanks for reading !!!!

The Carnal perspective and Spiritual perspective

    Carnal perspective is basically just your every day experience, what you think is right, and what you think is wrong. Where as spiritual perspective is basically what the Bible says about you.

Often When Christians quote Bible verses, its take their Carnal perspective and find verses that agree with them. Usually when a Christian comes to such conclusions, usually there are obvious verses that are plain and simple just blatantly disagrees with what the person is saying. Usually the verses quoted by people are verses that are bit hard to understand, they themselves don’t t understand. By pretending to understand no one can really disagree unless they themselves are skeptical enough to refute, or at least as for better explanation.

Many Christians often rationalize , rather than asking God for real and proper explanations that goes well in the Bible. Bible maybe just a small Book, but so was your Math textbook. It takes a entire year to study the book .
Its not how big the book is, its the quality. Bible was written by men influenced by holy spirit

2 Timothy 3 : 16,17

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Another Important thing that happens due to the carnal perspective of men, as the verse is written

1 Peter 3 : 15

15 But sanctify the Lord God[a] in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

Peter says always give defense for reason for hope, often people don’t give a defense. They expect people have blind faith and its not so. However having said that if you are going call Christians a idiot and not hear a word they say, there no point arguing with you.

But said that , God through me is going to enlighten you with a amazing perspective.

Joshua 6

The Destruction of Jericho

You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. It shall come to pass, when they make a longblast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat.

This verses give you a quick overview of what happened at Jericho.

God has given unto me the Scientific perspective of what happened today

The reason why the wall fell down, is because of the sound from the trumpets , its because of phenomenon called resonance.
It the the ability of particles to store Vibrational energy. Knowing the right Natural resonance frequency the wall was built.

The sound from the trumpets at that perfect frequency causes the wall to store maximum vibration energy.

Pretty sure that is what caused the wall to fail.

Its called mechanical resonance , quoting from Wikipedia

Mechanical resonance is the tendency of a mechanical system to respond at greater amplitude when the frequency of its oscillations matches the system’s natural frequency of vibration (its resonance frequency or resonant frequency) than it does at other frequencies. It may cause violent swaying motions and even catastrophic failure in improperly constructed structures including bridges, buildings and airplanes—a phenomenon known as resonance disaster.

Think about it , really awesome. Ain’t God great, he simply doesn’t break the laws of Universe to get things done. Of course he created it.

Now God has revealed this to me , I am pretty sure Every miracle as a Scientific perspective to it. I donno , about you I am very excited.

Tempting People to live Righteousness

Before I start this blog I would like to give a small example , christian life can be lived by 2 ways, it is similar to getting in shape

Assume you are in shape , you are a gym instructor. You are a noble gym instructor. You want to see everybody get in shape and be fit, there in fact like being a christian, there are two approaches.

One you can tell everyone what it takes to be fit( say you are so excited  at first you want to see everyone with 6 packs, strong thighs, ..etc.)

You go around showing people the fumbles in your gym, say you have to lift those heavy dumbles.

image

People get scared looking at it, and worry what if I drop it on my head or something. Then OK you lower your standard, you tell people to do dips, slightly easier less dangerous.

image

People try it , say “OK how many do I have to do?”
You say “At least 20 a day “

People get shocked say 20, that’s allot I can’t hardly do one, then you look down and nod your head, then you lower your standard even lower.

image

Look there’s the treadmill, try it out. People try it out .
One guy says “Hey this is easy, simple I can easily do this. I can do this once a week”
You say “No you have to do this everyday”.
He say’s “I have work every day “.
You say “Wake up at 5 in the morning”
He looks at you shocked and walks away.

You give up, but you see another gym instructor doing well. You are shocked wondering how low did he get people to not only sign up, but pay him.

image

You see him showing pictures like this, saying you can look like this for putting in medium amount of work. He tells people benefit
Or like this girl.

image

He explains to people, they can fit into very nice Jeans, look good in any dress. You look shocked, people were actually willing to do all that you told them to do. But what was the difference between him and you. You told them what to do, but he gave them the vision of what they will achieve by doing what he tells them to do.

Matthew 19:27,28

Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”

Jesus replied, “I assure you that when the world is made new and the Son of Man sits upon his glorious throne, you who have been my followers will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Jesus wants us to live a righteous life, but his approach is not like that of the first gym leader, not the second.

Remember we are right

Genesis 17:1

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.

We see God did tell Abraham to be  faithful to him, but that’s not the way he approached Abraham.

This is how he approached Abraham

Genesis 12 1-3

Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

This how God approached Abraham, sounds familiar it is similar to to the second gym instructor.

Remember you  are righteous by receiving grace by faith, not by our works.

Cute relationship of God and Abram

The relationship Abraham and God was really a cool one, and of course cute one. Although it is very interesting Abraham is the descendant of Shem.

Noah actually blessed the God of Shem,will give a deeper insight into that later😁.

Genesis 12

Promises to Abram

12 Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

Notice in verse 4, Abram took lot with him, but God told him to leave his family as in, where he was born in. But he took his relative Lot!!

But God was still with him. A point to be noted. The verses below indicate, not only God was with him, God gave him land, stupid amount of land.

6
Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, as far as the terebinth tree of Moreh.[a] And the Canaanites were then in the land.

Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. And he moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent withBethel on the west and Ai on the east; there he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord. So Abram journeyed, going on still toward the South.[b]

Abram Sins again:

11 And it came to pass, when he was close to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance. 12 Therefore it will happen, when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, ‘This is his wife’; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. 13 Please say youare my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that I[c] may live because of you.”

Abram seriously not a Man at all. Forget respect of Christians, the world would look down at him.

14 So it was, when Abram came into Egypt, that the Egyptians saw the woman, that she was very beautiful. 15 The princes of Pharaoh also saw her and commended her to Pharaoh. And the woman was taken to Pharaoh’s house. 16 He treated Abram well for her sake. He had sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male and female servants, female donkeys, and camels.

But Abram was righteous by faith, who but the pharaoh go screwed lol

image

.

17 But the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife. 18 And Pharaoh called Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? 19 Why did you say, ‘Sheis my sister’? I might have taken her as my wife. Now therefore, here is your wife; take her and go your way.” 20 So Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they sent him away, with his wife and all that he had.

So long story short after this incident, Lot turns against Abraham
And separates from him at Abrams request.

11 Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other.

Noticed Lot went east, its written he chose for himself all the plains of Jordan.

 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants[b]forever. 1

Noticed after Lot left thinking test the awesome land of Jordan is mine , God comes and says eastward is also yours lol

image

I guess that would have been Abraham’s reaction lol

Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.”

22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,23 that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’— 24 except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.”

Abraham exercised faith in the above verses,you must all like
Yeah Abraham!!

What actually happened was something thing like this 😂😂

image

Seriously that’s what happened read on from below:

Genesis 15

God’s Covenant with Abram
15 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

2 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

See at the last verse, Abraham was righteous faith, the cuteness doesn’t end here. For further story read genesis.

Thanks guys for reading lol😂😂
