Being a Good Christian is like being a good farmer your heart is the land

Farmers do few simple things

1 .till and apply manure or fertilizers to the soil.
2. Plant the seeds.
3.Water the plants

The Land is heart

Luke 6:45

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Proverbs 23:7

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Explanation :The land for farmer, Heart for the Christian .

Step 2.
Till and fertilize the soil.

Phillips 2 12,13

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose

Explanation: By fearing God , your heart become fertile, It will get great yield.

Step 3
Plant the seed.

Matthew  22:36-40

————————–Jesus Fulfilling the Law—————————————-

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Mathew 5:17

Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.

Matthew 3:17,18

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.

And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

John 15:13

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Romans 5:9

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

———————— we don’t need force ourselves to serve God————–

—————–Jesus came to give us Grace————

Giving us his Son is his greatest act of love

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2 Corinthians 13:14

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

1 John 4:19

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

—————We receive Gods love by receiving Grace of Jesus Christ————————————————————————-

Explanation:

1. We love God because God loves us first.
2.God loved us so much he gave his one and only Son of God
3.Son of God Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, and gave us grace before God

(Cool fact : Jesus Christ preached the law, to let us know how he will fulfill the law)

Grace is the seed that needed to be planted in our hearts.

Step 4. Pour water ,

——————–The sinful women loved Jesus more than Simon because she received more grace—————————

(Interesting fact : law commands us to love , she loved Jesus more than Simon)

Luke 7 37:50

37 A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. 38 As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his
feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.

39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.”

40 Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”

“Tell me, teacher,” he said.

41 “Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii,[c] and the other fifty. 42 Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”

43 Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.”

“You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.

44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”

48 Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

49 The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

50 Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

———The women received grace and mercy  by faith therefore loved Jesus—————————–

John 14: 7

If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

——-According to the verse above, she loved God more than Simon , therefore became more righteous—————-

Explanation

1. She knew she was forgiven
2. So she loved Jesus
3. Which is same as loving God.
4.She became righteousness by receiving Grace by faith.

Faith Formula (God gave me this revelation to me just follow it.)

Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

2 Corinthians 5:7

For we live by faith, not by sight.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

1. You need to read the promises of God, this paints a picture in your head of Gods promise ,which is different from the situation around you.

2.You need to hope , never stop hoping in the promises of God.

Faith is substance of things hoped for, not the things not hoped for

So you need to Hope, never ever stop hoping.

3. Plan your life ahead in direction you are hoping for, for example if

you are hoping to get healed by God, don’t go to the hospital.

As it is written :

James 2: 14-26

Faith Without Works Is Dead

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[a] works, and I will show you my faith by my[b] works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[c] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[d] And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

But if you are not able not able to Hope, then

1 Corinthians 3: 13

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Psalms 103:2

Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits–

The verse above says forget not his benefits ,its because we forget.
Remember the goodness of God , his love will flow through
Which will give you both grace and faith, since it is greater of two.
